ケンジントン2023サマースクール
2023年のサマースクールは、7月24日～8月4日まで、平尾浄水校で開催されます。このサマースクールは、1年の歳月をかけ準備するもので、私たちケンジントンにとって、1年で最もエキサイティングなイベントのひとつです。
今年も、スカベンジャーハントや水遊び、特別な音楽活動、クッキング、日本のお祭りでも見られるようなゲームや駄菓子などをご用意した夏祭りなど、さまざまな特別活動を用意しました。このプログラムは、生徒にとって特別で楽しく、思い出に残る体験であると同時に、英語での小学校受験に合格するため、そして合格後の小学生として成功するために必要なスキルを身につけるために特別にデザインされています。
現在このサマースクールはアドバンスクラスに通ってくださっている年長の生徒のみを対象としたサマースクールとなっておりますが、将来的には、より多くの生徒を対象としたさまざまなサマースクールイベントを開催できるようにしたいと思います。しかし、私たちが望むような素晴らしい、そして教育的なイベントにするために必要な能力、リソース、時間がないため、残念ながら外部者やアドバンスクラスの年長者以外の為のサマースクールはまだ行得ていません。

Kensington 2023 Summer School
Our 2023 summer school will take place this year from July 24th to Aug 4th in our school in Hiraojosui. We literally think and prepare for our summer school the whole academic year so it’s one of the most exciting times of the year for us here in Kensington.
This year too, we have arranged a series of special activities, ranging from scavenger hunts and water play to special musical activities, cooking and a traditional summer festival. In addition to being a special, fun and memorable experience for our students, this is a program specifically designed for the skills they need to, first of all, to pass the GC test and second of all to be successful GC students.
At the moment, we hold a summer school only for our Advanced Kindergarten K3 students but in future years, we would like to be able to organize different summer school events for a wider range of our students. We haven’t yet done so as we haven’t had the capacity, resources and time necessary to make sure that it will be both as amazing and also as educational an event as we want it to be.
