Our Advanced Elementary classes are designed for students with a very strong foundation in English—typically those who attend immersion schools, children from international families, returnees or students that have accumulated many hours of English study over several years.
These classes serve two key purposes:
To create a vibrant community for advanced learners to play, learn, and interact entirely in English. This immersive environment helps students stay motivated, confident, and socially engaged with peers at a similar level.
To provide diverse, academically rich content that builds on their existing skills and challenges them to grow. Through engaging projects, discussions, and advanced language activities, students expand their vocabulary, refine their grammar, and deepen their ability to express ideas in English.
アドバンス小学生クラスは、とくに高い英語力を持つお子さまを対象としています。主に、イマージョン系スクールに通うお子さま、インターナショナルなバックグラウンドを持つご家庭のお子さま、帰国子女、または長期間にわたって多くの英語学習時間を積み重ねてきたお子さまが対象です。
このクラスには、2つの目的があります。
高度な英語力を持つ子どもたちが集い、英語だけの環境で遊び、学び、交流できるコミュニティを作ること。 このようなイマ―ジョン環境の中で、同じレベルの仲間と関わることで、子どもたちは自信を持ち、モチベーションを保ちながら、英語を自然に使い続けることができます。
すでにある英語力をさらに高めるために、幅広く学術的なコンテンツを提供すること。 プロジェクトやディスカッション、発展的な言語アクティビティなどを通じて、語彙力を広げ、文法力を洗練させ、自分の考えを英語で表現する力を深めます。

The Advanced Elementary class is designed for students with a very high level of English ability. For this reason, we conduct a level check before enrollment to assess each child's English skills and learning background.
In some cases, Intermediate Elementary classes may be a more suitable fit. We encourage you to contact us first for a consultation. If you can share details such as your child’s English learning history, use of English at home, and future goals, we will be better able to recommend the most appropriate class.

アドバンス小学生クラスは、基準もしくはそれ以上の高い英語力を持つお子さまを対象としたクラスです。そのため、受講前にレベルチェックを行い、お子さまの英語力や学習歴を確認させていただいております。

Course Details
The Advanced Elementary curriculum is designed with high level students in mind to reinforce advanced English language skills as well as introduce new vocabulary, more complicated grammar and improve writing skills. Most importantly, the Advanced Elementary class provides a setting in which these skills can be applied through conversation with other students of a similarly advanced English level in a supportive and highly active academic environment.
Each month a new theme is used to expose students to specific vocabulary and new grammar points. Each week students take part in a different activity in which they use the new vocabulary and grammar in discussions, writing and creative projects. These activities include reading books together, solving math story problems, a variety of art activities such as painting, science activities such as growing and observing different plants, and outdoor excursions.
We are aware and knowledgeable of the national curriculum used in elementary schools and, as much as possible, align our activities and lessons to match what students are learning at school in all of their subjects.
Each lesson moves at a fast pace in a challenging and supportive environment where students actively participate in conversations, games, and activities with the teacher as well as other students.
Who is it designed for?
Our classes are designed for students already enrolled in GC or other immersion programs, returnees, children from international families, or any student with a very strong English background seeking to further enhance their skills.

コースの内容
Advanced Elementary用のカリキュラムは、上級英語技能の更なる強化を念頭においたハイレベルのキッズ向けにデザインされており、新しい語彙や、より複雑な文法の導入、そしてライティング技能の向上を目指すものです。支援的、そして非常に活発なアカデミック環境において、同等の上級レベルを有すクラスメイトと、会話を通じて学んだスキルを実際に使うことができること。それを実現させるための環境設定が最も重要だと思っています。
毎月新しいテーマを用いて特定の語彙や新しい文法要点に触れることができます。キッズは毎週変わるアクティビティへ参加し、ディスカッション、ライティング、創作プロジェクトの中で、実際に新しい語彙や文法を使います。アクティビティにもいろいろとあり、本を一緒に読んだり、算数の文章題を解いたり、というものから、ペインティング等の多様な美術的アクティビティ、様々な植物を栽培し観察するような理科系アクティビティ、また外での校外活動も含みます。
小学校で使われている文科省の学習指導要領についても心得ており、知識も深めています。当スクールでのアクティビティは、できる限りキッズが学校の色々な教科で学んでいる内容に沿ったものにしています。
レッスンは、キッズが支えられていると感じ、安心して挑戦できる環境の中で、早いペースで進みます。キッズは講師とだけでなく、クラスメイトとも活発にコミュニケーションをとり、一緒に会話やーム、アクティビティに参加しています。
どんなお子様向き？
こちらのクラスは、すでにGCコースやその他のイマージョンプログラムに在籍しているお子さま、帰国子女、インターナショナルファミリーのお子さま、または非常に高い英語力を持ち、そのスキルをさらに伸ばしたいと考えているお子さまを対象としています。

こんにちは！私の名前はMr.Richardsです。
この7年間、日本に住みながらあらゆる年齢そしてレベルのお子さん達に英語を教えてきました。主に小学校英語イマージョンコースへ向けて学習する幼児クラスのキッズ、そしてアドバンスレベルの小学生の学習者のみなさんをお手伝いしています。
私は自分がこの仕事に携われることをとても幸運に思っています。どんなレベルの学習者にも、教えることができるだけで大変やりがいのあるのですが、アドバンスレベルの学習者に対しては特に、違う達成感があります。英語のレベルが高いため、多岐にわたる学術的トピックについて触れ、さらに掘り下げた会話をすることができます。それが私にとって彼らの個性や、興味、考えかたをしっかり理解するたすけになるのです。
私が教えて数年経つキッズが多くいますが、成長においてとても大切なステージを過ごす皆さんをちかくで見守り、サポートすることができるのは、心から嬉しくて光栄なことです。
Hello! My name is Mr. Richards.
I’ve been living in Japan and teaching children of all ages and levels for over seven years. During that time, I’ve primarily focused on teaching and preparing kindergarten students for English immersion elementary schools, as well as working with advanced elementary learners.
I feel very fortunate to do what I do. Teaching students at any level is deeply rewarding, but there’s something especially fulfilling about working with advanced learners. With their higher English ability, I’m able to explore more diverse academic topics with them and have deeper conversations that help me understand their personalities, interests, and ways of thinking.
Many of my students have been with me for several years, and it’s a true privilege to support and watch them grow through important stages of their development.
